Every piece on this site is made individually for you based on the options you select — metal, width, size, design, and any engraving. This policy explains how that works.

Your configuration is the specification

The options and engraving text you enter at checkout are exactly what we make. Before we start, we show them back to you for approval.

Proof approval

After you order, we email you a proof: every option, your size in both US and Japanese sizing, and your engraving text exactly as it will be engraved, with a preview. Please check it carefully.

  • Approve with one click and we begin production.
  • Request a change from the same page. Engraving text can be corrected directly at no charge. Other changes (size, metal, design, adding or removing engraving) are sent to us; we will confirm whether the change is possible and whether the price changes before anything is made.
  • We send reminders if we have not heard from you. If we receive no response within 7 days of the proof email, we proceed with the configuration shown in the proof, so that your piece is not delayed indefinitely. Each reminder states the date this will happen.
  • You can follow your order at any time on the order status link included in every email.

After production begins

Changes are generally not possible once your piece is being made. If a change is possible, it may carry a fee.

Engraving

We engrave the characters you enter, in the character set and length limits shown on the product page. We may adjust spacing or font size to fit the piece. We do not proofread for spelling, grammar, or meaning — what you type is what we engrave. Engraved pieces are not returnable (see Returns, exchanges & repairs).

Ring sizing

You are responsible for selecting the correct size. Use our size guide, or have your finger measured by a jeweler. On the Japanese site, sizes are shown in Japanese sizes (号); we convert them to the equivalent US size for production.

One complimentary resize is available within 30 days of delivery where the design allows (see Returns, exchanges & repairs). Some designs — including rings with continuous patterns, inlays, or inside engraving — cannot be resized without affecting the design, and we will tell you if that applies.

Natural variation

Wood, stone, shell, and hand-finishing vary from piece to piece. Photographs show representative examples; your piece will be unique and may differ slightly in grain, color, or pattern.

Lead time

Production typically takes 2–4 weeks. We will email you when production starts and when your piece ships. If we anticipate a delay beyond the stated window, we will contact you and offer the choice to wait or cancel for a full refund.

Cancellation

You may cancel for a full refund at any time before you approve your proof (or before the automatic proceed date, if you do not respond). After production begins, the order cannot be cancelled because the piece is being made to your specification.

Payment

Full payment is taken at checkout through Stripe. We do not store card details.
