The maker at the bench

Made at the bench in Hawaiʻi

I make every piece on this site myself, at a bench in Hawaiʻi. [Two or three sentences in your own words: how you came to this work, who taught you, what you care about at the bench.]

Each order is cut, shaped, inlaid and engraved for one person. Before I start, I send you a proof of exactly what I’m about to make, so you know what you’re getting.

How an order works

  1. You design your piece online, or with us on a video call.
  2. We send a proof: every option, your size in US and Japanese sizing, your engraving written out. Nothing is made until you approve it.
  3. We make it, usually in two to four weeks, and email you when it ships.
  4. One free resize within 30 days where the design allows, and a 1 year workmanship warranty.

Where we work

Everything is made at a small bench in Hawaiʻi. The workshop isn’t open to the public, but you can meet us at markets and events, or by appointment on a video call.
