Everyday wear
Remove jewelry before swimming, bathing, exercise, and sleeping. Salt water, chlorine, perfume, and lotions dull metal and can damage wood, shell, and stone inlays.
Cleaning
Clean with a soft dry cloth. For gold without inlay, warm water and mild soap are fine; dry thoroughly. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners or chemical dips on pieces with inlay.
Storage
Store pieces separately in a soft pouch.
Wood and shell inlays
Wood and shell inlays are natural materials and will develop character with wear. Keep them away from prolonged water exposure. Our guide to koa wood and shell inlay explains what to expect over time.
